How do deposit and situation invoices work?
From an accepted quote, you issue a first deposit invoice (often 30% on signing). Then intermediate invoices (situations) as the site progresses, and a final invoice on delivery. Billora tracks total invoiced vs the quote to avoid any overrun or omission.
How to manage guarantee retention on my invoices?
On the final invoice, you specify the retention rate (typically 5% or 10%) on the total TTC. The invoice displays the total, the retention, and the net amount payable. The retention is tracked: it will be released by a subsequent invoice at the end of the guarantee period.
Can I send quotes and invoices via WhatsApp to my clients?
Yes. Billora generates a downloadable PDF and a shareable link. You copy the link into WhatsApp — your clients click, open the PDF, accept. Much more practical than email in Morocco, especially for individuals.
What about a quote in French and a client speaking Darija?
The PDF quote remains in French (legal language in Morocco for commercial documents), but you can add comment lines in Darija or Arabic to clarify certain points for the client. Eventually, Billora will offer bilingual French/Arabic quotes.
Can I invoice materials and labor separately?
Yes. Each line of the quote has its description, quantity, unit (m², linear m, day…), unit price. You can structure by lots: "Materials", "Labor", "Equipment rental"… with subtotals.
