Who can request deletion
A Billora account belongs to a business, which may have several users:
- The account owner — can request the full deletion of the business account and all of its data;
- A team member — (admin, accountant, viewer) can ask the owner to remove them from the team, or email us to have their personal data deleted;
- Someone who has lost access — to the account can email us from the address linked to the account.
Request deletion from the app
Sign in with the owner account, then:
On billora.ma
- Open Settings, then “Account management”.
- Choose “Permanent deletion”.
- Enter the reason for your request, accept the terms and submit.
- Confirm the request using the link sent to you by email.
In the Billora mobile app
- Open the More tab, then Settings.
- Under “Danger zone”, tap “Account”.
- Enter the reason, accept the conditions and tap “Request deletion”, then confirm with the link you receive by email.
If the request is not confirmed by email within 48 hours, it is cancelled automatically. Once confirmed, it is validated by our team: you can cancel it at any time, from the same page, until the date of final deletion.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, write to contact@billora.ma from your account's email address, with the subject “Account deletion”, stating:
- the business name or ICE linked to the account;
- whether you want the whole account deleted or only your personal data.
To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm your identity before deleting it.
Deleted data
At the end of the retention period, the following are permanently deleted:
- the business, its subscription and every team member's access;
- clients, suppliers, products, bank accounts and settings;
- invoices, credit notes, quotes, purchase orders, expenses and payments;
- attached documents, uploaded files, the account's activity log and the user accounts that do not belong to any other business.
Retained data and precautions
After deletion:
- Your sign-in identity — (name and email address) is deleted with the account, unless you also belong to another business on Billora: it is then kept for that other account, and only your access to the deleted business disappears;
- Your accounting obligations — Moroccan law requires businesses to keep their invoices and accounting records for 10 years: this obligation is yours. Since your documents are deleted from Billora at the end of the retention period, export them before then (“Export all my data” button);
- Subscription invoices and backups — the invoices Billora issued for your subscription are kept for 10 years in our accounting, as the law requires; technical backup copies are overwritten as part of their normal rotation.
Deletion is irreversible: nothing can be recovered afterwards. More details in our privacy policy.
Timelines
- Confirmation — 48 hours to confirm the request by email;
- Retention — 60 days by default from validation by our team: account in read-only mode, export and cancellation possible;
- Deletion and receipt — automatic on the scheduled date, with reminders 15 and 3 days before, then a deletion receipt sent by email.
In accordance with Moroccan law no. 09-08, we answer any request about your data within 30 days at most. Questions: contact@billora.ma.
