What Billora does for you

No need to change tools or relearn everything. Billora is built to absorb new regulatory obligations without disrupting you.

Available

Authenticity QR code — right now

Every Billora PDF includes a QR code in the top-right corner: invoice number, seller & client ICE, amounts and SHA-256 hash. Scan it to verify the invoice's integrity without an internet connection.

When the portal opens

One-click DGI submission

As soon as the official portal opens, submit your invoices directly from Billora. Real-time status: submitted → DGI validated → DGI archive reference recorded.

Architecture

Multi-provider architecture

Billora's e-invoice module is built to adapt without disruption: an approved dematerialization operator (ODA) can be plugged in within hours. If the law changes, you have nothing to do.

Security

HMAC signature & verification

The operator's webhooks are verified by HMAC-SHA256 signature. No fraudulent status update can affect your invoices.

Compliance

ICE, IF, RC, TP built in

All Moroccan tax identifiers are handled natively: validated 15-digit ICE, IF, RC, TP. Automatic validation before submission to avoid DGI rejections.

Simplicity

Nothing for you to do at switchover

When the DGI opens its portal, the Billora administrator will enable automatic submission. Your invoices will keep being created and sent exactly as today.

What the law says

Article 145-IX of the CGI

The 2024 Finance Act introduces the obligation of electronic invoicing for all B2B operations subject to VAT. Invoices must pass through an approved operator that submits them to the DGI for validation before they have legal value.

Clearance model (prior validation)

Morocco adopts the so-called "clearance" model: an invoice is only legally valid after validation by the DGI. The approved dematerialization operator (ODA) handles transmission and electronic signature (XAdES).

ICE mandatory on all B2B invoices

The Common Business Identifier (15 digits) must appear on the invoice for both the seller AND the buyer. Without a valid ICE, the invoice will be rejected by the DGI portal. Billora validates the format automatically before submission.

10-year retention: what you need to know

The regulations require the company to keep its electronic invoices for 10 years. Billora archives them securely while you are subscribed and lets you export them at any time (UBL, PDF, QR, integrity manifest) to keep them yourself or with your accountant. When the account is closed, export first: the data is then deleted. Billora also gives you access to the DGI archive reference on every validated invoice.

Enable electronic invoicing in Billora

Prerequisites, activation steps and certificate management — everything you need to know before getting started.

The electronic signature certificate

To submit your invoices to the DGI, your company must have a qualified signature certificate (class 3, X.509) issued by an ANRT-approved provider. It guarantees your digital identity with the tax administration.

ANRT-approved providers

Documents required: ICE, IF, RC + ID of the legal representative.

How it works

1

Obtain the certificate

Request from an approved provider with your tax identifiers (ICE, IF, RC).

2

Import into Billora

Upload the P12/PFX file in Settings → Electronic invoicing. Immediate activation.

3

Billora signs automatically

Each invoice is signed in UBL 2.1, submitted to the DGI and validated before sending to the client.

4

Alerts & renewal

Billora alerts you before expiry and handles network errors with 3 automatic retries.

Get your business ready today

The authenticity QR code is already active on all your PDFs. DGI submission will be available as soon as the portal opens — no migration, no change of tool.
