What is it for?
Your Billora subscription is a service you pay for: Billora therefore issues you, like any supplier, an invoice. Your accountant needs it to justify the expense in your books.
Example. Nadia, manager of an architecture firm in Fès, has to hand all her records to her chartered accountant at the end of the quarter. She attaches the Billora subscription invoice and records the expense in the app.
1. How are your invoices issued?
- They are issued by the Billora team, from its own accounting, in your company's name: company name, ICE, IF, RC and address are taken from your information at the time of the first invoice. Keep them accurate in Paramètres → Informations (Settings → Information) from sign-up.
- The email address used is your company's or, failing that, the account owner's.
- They bear the title "Abonnement Billora", with the period covered (from… to…) and, as the case may be, "Abonnement mensuel" (monthly subscription) or "Abonnement annuel" (annual subscription).
- The payment due date is generally 30 days.
At each issue, a "Facture Billora émise" (Billora invoice issued) line appears in your Journal d'activité (Activity log) (Journal d'activité menu), with the invoice number.
The app does not yet offer a downloadable list of your subscription invoices in the settings. If you cannot find an invoice, request it from contact@billora.ma stating the period: the team will send it again.
2. Why a 0 DH invoice?
During a free period (trial or goodwill gesture), the team may issue a 0 DH invoice. Its line then starts with "Période offerte" (Free period) or mentions "Geste commercial" (Goodwill gesture). This is normal: it keeps a clear record of the period covered.
3. Record it in your expenses
- Open Facturation → Dépenses (Billing → Expenses) and create a Nouvelle dépense (New expense) (Ctrl+Alt+E as a shortcut).
- Fill in the description, the supplier, the reference (the Billora invoice number), a suitable category and the amount including VAT (TVA).
- In the expense record, add the PDF of the received invoice in the documents section.
- Record the payment once it is settled (see Pay an expense).
Billora is not accounting software: creating the expense serves your internal tracking. Your chartered accountant remains the judge of VAT deductibility.
4. Check the rate invoiced
The Tarif (Rate) card in Paramètres → Plan & Facturation (Settings → Plan & Billing) shows the price that serves as the basis for your invoices: price at sign-up (frozen), any permanent discount ("−X %"), "Tarif négocié" (Negotiated rate) if a special price was agreed, or promo code applied with the saving made. If an invoice amount does not match, write to the team with the invoice number.
Frequently asked questions
I did not receive my invoice.
Check your spam folder, then write to contact@billora.ma stating the period. A "Facture Billora émise" trace in your Activity log proves it was indeed issued.
My ICE or address is wrong on the invoice.
The information is copied at the time of the first invoice: a correction made afterwards in Paramètres → Informations does not modify the record used for your subscription invoices. Write to the team so they update it and reissue the invoice if necessary.
Do my subscription invoices disappear if I delete my account?
No: they remain kept for 10 years in Billora's accounting, as the accounting obligation requires. Remember to keep a copy on your side.
