Why does a Billora mention appear on my PDFs, emails and portal, and how do I remove it?

What is this about?

When your subscription does not include the "Retirer la mention Billora" (Remove the Billora mention) feature, Billora adds a discreet mention wherever your clients and suppliers receive your documents. It makes the tool you use known; it changes neither the content, nor the amounts, nor the legal value of your documents.

Example. Nadia emails an invoice to her client. The PDF ends with "Document created with Billora — billora.ma" and the email with "Invoicing with Billora". When Nadia moves to a subscription that includes the removal, the mention disappears from her next PDFs and emails.

Where does the mention appear?

On the PDFs of your documents

A single line, at the very bottom of the page, after your legal mentions (identity, contact, ICE, RC, IF, bank): "Document created with Billora — billora.ma". It is translated into the language of the document: French, English or Arabic (a bilingual French / Arabic document carries the mention in French). The domain name is a clickable link. It applies to invoices, quotes, purchase orders, delivery notes, credit notes, proforma invoices, payment receipts, bank deposits and goods receipts.

• With a custom footer, the mention is added below your text; your legal mentions are never moved or removed.
• If you indicated that your footer image already contains your legal mentions (letterhead), the footer is not completed: no mention is added.

In the emails sent by your company

The bottom of the email shows "Facturation avec Billora" (written in French, like the body of the email) and a link to the Billora website. It applies to document emails (invoices, quotes, purchase orders, credit notes, proformas), reminders, payment confirmations and the other emails sent on behalf of your company.

On the client and supplier portal

The portal shows "Portail sécurisé par Billora" in its menu, an "Essayer Billora gratuitement" bar at the bottom of the pages and, on the sign-in screen, "Vous aussi, facturez avec Billora".

What does the link contain?

The link leads to the home page of the Billora website, (on a PDF: the language of the document; in an email: French). It only contains campaign markers that are identical for everyone (source, medium, campaign): neither your company name, nor your client's name, nor their email address, nor the number or content of a document. The recipient gets their document as usual, without an account and without clicking.

How do I remove the mention?

The mention is removed with the "Retirer la mention Billora" feature, depending on your subscription. There is no setting to tick in the application: as long as your subscription does not include it, the mention is displayed.

1. Check your subscription and the features of each plan (see Plans and limits).
2. If a plan includes "Retirer la mention Billora", request it from the Subscription page (see Changing plan).
3. As soon as your subscription includes it, the mention disappears: PDFs, emails and portal.

Special cases

• Test mode: test mode does not unlock this feature. Trial PDFs ("TEST" watermark) and "[MODE TEST]" emails carry the mention if your subscription does not include it.
• Demo account: no mention.
• Read-only accountant: the mention depends only on the company's subscription, not on the role of the person downloading.

Frequently asked questions

Does the mention change the legal value of my invoice?

No. It is a line added after your legal mentions, which remain intact. For any tax question, have your templates validated by your accountant.

Can I hide the mention by covering it with my letterhead?

No: it is decided by your subscription when the PDF is generated. Only the case of a footer image that already contains your legal mentions does not add a line.

Why is the mention still there after I changed subscription?

Check that the plan applied to your account includes "Retirer la mention Billora". If it does and the mention still shows, contact support.
