Start from an existing document: what is copied, the number, the dates, the monthly quota, and duplicating purchase orders and expenses.

What is it for?

Duplicating means starting from an existing document instead of retyping everything. You get a new draft identical to the original, which you adjust before sending it.

Example: "Cabinet Benjelloun", in Rabat, invoices the same accounting service every month to the company "Atlas Services". In January he creates the invoice; in February he duplicates it, changes the subject and the date, and sends it in two minutes.

Duplicate an invoice or a quote

  1. Open the invoice or the quote in Facturation → Factures (Invoicing → Invoices) or Facturation → Devis (Invoicing → Quotes).
  2. Click the Dupliquer (Duplicate) tile in the Actions rapides (Quick actions) block. From the list, you can also click "…" on the right of the row, then Dupliquer.
  3. You land on the new document, with the Brouillon (Draft) status.
  4. Edit what needs to change: subject, lines, quantities, dates.
  5. Save, then send it like a normal document.

Good to know: the number

The duplicate has no number while it is a draft. The next number in your sequence (FA-2026-0001, then 0002…) is assigned to it when you send it. This way, an abandoned duplicate leaves no gap in your numbering.

Good to know: an independent document

The duplicate is a brand-new document: it does not carry over the payments, the history, or the e-invoicing of the original. An invoice already validated by the DGI can therefore be duplicated safely.

Monthly quota

A duplicated invoice or quote is a new document: it counts towards your monthly quota. If the quota is reached, Billora refuses the duplication with an explicit message.

Also duplicate purchase orders and expenses

  • Purchase order (bon de commande): Dupliquer button in the list and on its page. The copy is a draft dated today, with no planned delivery date.
  • Expense: Dupliquer button on its page. The copy keeps the supplier, the category and the amount, with the "(copie)" mention in the description and today's date.
An invoice that comes back every month?

If you reissue the same invoice at regular intervals, look at Facturation → Récurrentes (Invoicing → Recurring): Billora can generate it for you.

Frequently asked questions

I do not see the "Dupliquer" button.

It is reserved for roles that can create documents (owner, administrators). Accountants and viewers can only consult.

Can I duplicate a cancelled or paid invoice?

Yes, from the document's page (Dupliquer tile): the duplicate is a brand-new draft, unrelated to the status of the original. In the list, the "…" menu does not offer Dupliquer for an invoice cancelled by a credit note (avoir): open its page instead.

The duplicate has a subject "Copie de…". Should I keep it?

No, edit it freely: it is only a marker so you do not confuse the original and the copy.

Why is the due date empty?

It depends on the new issue date: Billora leaves it empty so that you choose it knowingly.
