Winning a new client costs more than retaining an existing one. This report answers a simple question: out of the 20 clients I invoiced this year, how many ordered in several different months? You can see whether your business relies on loyal clients or on one-off sales.

Where to find it

Menu Rapports → Récurrence des clients (Reports → Client recurrence). Depending on your subscription, it may not be included: the page then tells you from which plan it is available.

1. Reading the report

  1. Choose the period at the top of the page (« Ce mois » (This month), « Ce trimestre » (This quarter), « Cette année » (This year), « Personnalisé » (Custom)…). For a reliable reading, take at least several months.
The subtitle recalls the period and the exact dates.
  2. Read the four cards at the top.
  3. Scroll down to the « Nouveaux clients et clients déjà connus, par mois » (New and existing clients, by month) table, then the « Détail par client » (Detail by client).

2. The four cards

CardWhat it means
Clients facturés (Invoiced clients)The number of different clients invoiced over the period, with the number of invoices and the average number of invoices per client.
Taux de rachat (Repurchase rate)The share of clients invoiced in 2 or more months of the period. The higher it is, the more your clients come back.
Nouveaux clients (New clients)Those whose first invoice falls within the period.
Déjà clients (Existing clients)Those who had already been invoiced before the period.
Good to know: what makes a client "recurring"

A client is recurring when they are invoiced in at least two different months of the period. Several invoices in the same month do not count as a repurchase: a client who orders three times in January is not yet a loyal client. Only issued invoices are counted (excluding drafts and cancelled invoices).

3. The detail by client

The table lists each client with their number of invoices, their active months and the total invoiced excl. VAT, sorted by number of active months. Clients whose first invoice this is carry the « Nouveau » (New) marker. For a period of up to 24 months, one column per month shows the number of invoices in each month (a dot "·" for a month with no invoice). Click a name to open the client's record.

For the full list (all clients and, beyond 24 months, the monthly detail), use the « CSV » button at the top right.

Frequently asked questions

The report is empty: « Aucun client facturé sur cette période » (No client invoiced in this period).

It is based on issued invoices. Choose another period, or issue your invoices first.

A client appears as « Nouveau » (New) although I have known them for a long time.

« Nouveau » means: first invoice in the period. A client created long ago but never invoiced before is therefore new here.

What should I do about a low repurchase rate?

Compare it with your business: a low rate is normal for one-off sales (works), but worrying for a recurring service. Rely on collections and your commercial relationship to build loyalty.
